i've never actually liked the cyclops. i think he looks like a moron. and he creeps me out. one eye! for crying out loud! that's nasty. but i can't exclude him from the mythological whatevers. so i'm getting him out of the way. this is the sketch. to be continued...

new pen

i just got a fountain pen for inking. ive never used one before and its going to take a little getting used to. unfortunately fancy pens don't make up for lousy drawings. next time ill have to plan it out a little more.

Minotaur

this here is a minotaur. the second to what hopefully will be a series of mythological whatevers. vector art, same as the medusa. the less-is-more style takes a lot longer than expected.

perspectively

i wasnt really sure what to do with this after i finished the form. so i took the easy way out and gave her summer attire. ill probably do something else with it later. mostly likely a less graphic color job. and maybe ill add alligators. this was inspired by eric canete's work. he is way good.
